My June fitness/health challenges!

I know PrettyCheapJewelry was probably looking more for a financial challenge, but I thought I'd share my fitness ones -- my financial ones aren't very "fun" or shareable.

These are my three goals:
- Do at least 10 minutes of intense exercise every day
- Count (or at least try to estimate) all calories consumed
- No night snacking unless it's fruit, raw veggies, sugar-free peanut butter or herbal tea

So, if any or all of these goals interest you, feel free to join me, and blog about your progress!

Caveat: I'm going easy on myself this weekend since we have AS's mom in town, though I will try to start the challenge. If I don't, it officially begins for me on Tuesday!

    Oooo, doesn't have to be $$ related, I am very much environmental related and a NDD (no drive day) is probably at the top of my list.

    OK, so daily exercise/calorie/snackless nights, I'll join! Starting today. Let's hope the exercise cancels out some of the calories!

    I like the 10 minute theme. We could tweak it so it applies to more goals, into say a "10 minutes a day to..."
    People could just dedicate the time to something good
    for them, like 10 minutes a day of extra cleaning and sorting, or posting stuff on ebay to male money, or exercising? Thoughts?

    Yes! People should definitely use it as inspiration for their own challenge.

    Your fitness plan sounds like a good one, although I’m apprehensive about the counting calories part. I tried it before and I ended up eating more. Apparently I’m not very good at counting calories, as I tend to underestimate them. But maybe it will work for you.
