November debt goal reached

Just a quick check-in on a lazy day after Thanksgiving. AS's student loan payment hit with $137 going to principal.

That takes us to $1569, exceeding the goal of $1550.

Will set a new goal for December this weekend.

We have two people who have expressed interest in the condo and another showing tomorrow. Really hoping one of these turns into an offer.

I'm at 43,502 words on my NaNoWriMo novel (which explains why I've barely blogged for a while). I think I can get it done by the end of the month.

Three more weeks until NT finishes college!

That's the big news in a nutshell.

    What is the plan to celebrate NT's program completion? I realize it isn't formal grad but it's really nice to make our guys feel really special when they hit a milestone, complete a long project etc. It needn't be a spend, perhaps a home made banner from a plain sheet [it can still go back into service and something to giggle about], home made cake/cupcakes/cookies with XO, congrats, hooray etc. piped, favourite entree, jazzed table setting, print off an on-line card or whatever you think appropriate. Could the girls sign off a made-up certificate with their handprint from finger paint?

    We've always taken a ton of photos to mark special/important days with the idea of having something to talk about when we're seniors lol.

    Thanks guys! snafu, AS and I are taking the afternoon off to attend a little reception with him about a week before his last class, and he can take pics in a cap and gown there (even though he won't be wearing one or accepting his diploma in a ceremony). That night, conveniently, my alumni association is having their Xmas party, so we'll go there for more celebrating.

    We don't have anything planned for after he actually finishes his last exam. Will have to think about that one ...
