LOTS of pics (part 1 of 2)

You ready? Smile We're done! I know it looks a bit blank-slate, but we didn't have much money for staging so we just focused on decluttering and updating what we could.

Looks great, except your contractor did not clean the bottom of the back of the bathroom door after working on the floor. Buyers see that and think they need a new door and trim.

Overall, you have done a great job, especially on your budget. Now you just need a buyer!

Great improvement on the bathroom!! It looks great. I like that you didn't make BIG changes to the tile. New grout does wonders. Smile

Good catch, AR - I was distracted by how amazing everything looked!!

Ceejay - I'd see if you can scrub the bottom of that door.

It reminds me of when we cleaned and staged our last house for sale. I was like, Why didn't it look like this when WE lived here? This is so much nicer!!!

Nice catch; that was already on our task list, and AS did it last night. Took 5 minutes and looks like the white was never there.

You've all done an incredible job in such a short time frame. I'm so impressed with the changes. The kitchen looks fabulous, worth every hour and every dollar spent. It's such a modern look and seems so much larger. Where did all the stuff go? The bathrm is so much more peaceful. The MBdrm closet doors are beautiful.

I'd like to mention a couple of staging ideas if it's ok. I'm loathe to add work. Check with your agent as each region is different. I think your balcony is an important feature for the view it offers and sq footage. Since you already have a table and chair, you could staple table cloth and fold a blanket into a pillow case to create the look of a chair 'cushion.' If you will use outdoor table & chair in new home you might prefer to wipe slats with stain gel. Teak Oil does a nice job but it is so expensive. You could use the mats that had been in the bthrm to add color and fill the planter with existing houseplants or suitable sized tchokies.

Dining rm looks inviting. Suggest using your colourful fruit bowl on centre with coloured plates you already have to do 'place settings,' + wine glasses to catch sparkle from lights, possibly add cloth napkins or pretty paper napkins 'fluffed' in goblet. Adding cutlery to napkin in napkin ring is another way to create sparkle. For evening showings wine, goblets and stacked plates to hint at wine & cheese for friends [we kept table stuff/tchokies on a tray in the oven to whip out for showings]
